BlackBox's team
Provide a narrative to better communicate & sell their capabilities.
04
Brand essence
Key differentiator
Fully integrated in-house team delivering complete, end-to-end solutions.
Tone
Confident, cutting edge & reliable.
05
Our chalenge
Showcase vs secrecy
Had to ensure the website positioned the brand at par with competitors without exposing their innovations.
Bias for numbers
Competitors flaunted impressive quantitative data while BlackBox, being new, had little to show.
Validating potential
Had to establish trust with investors & collaborators despite limited scale & geopolitical bias.
Here's why we did what we did in 04 points
01
Their colors (& our 03 constraints)
Manufacturing realities
Colors had to work across anodizing, powder coating, spray painting, & digital printing - limiting us to the RAL palette.
Compliance
Machine surfaces must stay white to spot contaminants, & industry-standard warning colors were off-limits.
Competitor landscape
Whatever remained was already saturated with oranges, warm yellows, & PCB greens.
The colors we chose
A bold lime green - unseen in the category - cut through the noise & echoes the industry’s “green light = all good” signal, reinforcing BlackBox’s promise of smooth, reliable operation.
02
Their brand logo & accent
We kept deliberately traditional & competitor-aligned - confident, neutral, & fit for every machine they produce.
03
Our inspiration
The high-end fashion & art industry regularly communicates a sense of grandness & mystery to present a high-quality yet trustable brand image.
That is exactly what BlackBox Factories was looking for too.
04
Their visual identity
We used humor & playful design not just for charm, but as a strategic veil - sparking curiosity, differentiating the brand, & hinting at the intelligence behind their IP without exposing it.
Here's how we applied this to their website in 04 points
01
Gathering data
We poured over their previous website, pitch decks & their team members to understand their company better.
